my story

Chronic illness has been my biggest healing initiation. Breathwork, somatics, and plant medicine have been my allies in re-membering myself, bringing me in to an expanded & deepened relationship with my body, the earth, and other beings. It continually delights me to share the tools I’ve gained along the way.

Business history

I started a small herbal tea business in 2015. From 2017-2024 my practice was primarily centered bodywork and somatic energy work. I also practiced as a full-spectrum doula within this time period.

Every single time someone has allowed me to be a part of their healing process, I learn more than any book or class could ever teach me. I am so grateful to be invited to witness and hold space for so many incredible, unique individuals and families!

Today, my practice is mostly focused on Breathwork and Herbalism. I am passionate about empowering others with information to connect with and heal themselves; this is what I mean by “autonomy” being a guiding principle to my work. I find working with breath and plants to be deeply personal, honest, immediate, and integrative.

Training & education

I am indebted and grateful to the teachers who have shared their wisdom with me.

I am humbled to receive teachings on life and healing from sources all around me; my community of family, friends, clients, care providers, and the Earth. I am continuing my education on decolonization, antiracism, Reproductive Justice, psychology, somatics, trauma, and the nervous system.

More formal relevant training and education of mine includes:

somatics + breath

  • Certified Breathwork Teacher | Vivation International

  • Massage Therapy & Bodywork Training with East-West Healing Arts Institute | eight hundred hours

  • Acupressure internship with Dr. Zhou, MDOM, LAc

  • five-year Licensure in the state of WI as a Bodywork and Massage Therapist

Herbalism

  • Wild Food & Medicine Program with Moonwise Herbs | eight months

  • an abundant array of workshops and conferences over the last seven years

Personal

I’m delighted by food, swimming, hot springs, deserts, forests, traveling, and experiencing art & design of all kinds. I am also a singer.

Foraging wild food and medicine is one of my greatest passions (on the right: me with a nettle harvest, wet from rain, at my happiest). I also love tending plants and animals. I have a sweet survivor dog named Chaga who goes on adventures with me.

I completed a Liberal Arts associate’s degree from UW- Stevens Point. I’ve also studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Northland College. My university studies were largely focused on art, religion, gender, medical anthropology, and psychology.

I am genderqueer and use they/them pronouns.

I practice attuning to myself so I can hold space for your self-attunement. I aim to dismantle oppressive restriction, purity, and savior mentality within the healing arts. I believe our personal healing affects the collective.
